Latasha graduated from Sussex Central High School in 2011 top ten in her class. She went on to study at Virginia State University. In 2015, Latasha Richardson graduated Cum Laude from Virginia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. This was made possible with the help of several scholarships. One in particular was the George L. Taylor Scholarship through the Jessica Ann Moore Foundation, which helps pave the way for so many students year after year.
During Latasha’s academic career, she invested time in a few programs and internships. One of the most rewarding programs was the Upward Bound Program for 3 consecutive summers. Another organization she ventured into was the National Association for Black Accountants (NABA).
In her internship with WCVE at PBS Television Station, Latasha learned how to build valuable business relationships, not only with other businesses, but within the community.
For the past few years, Latasha has been working vigorously for Securian Financial Life Insurance Company, analyzing coverages and counseling families. A career where helping people in the hardest times of their lives really pays off”.
